Kings of Leon/Atlanta/Sept. 15, 2010
I was broke when tickets went on sale.
The day of the concert, I found and purchased tickets from a nice lady on craigslist and ended up FRONT ROW for the show that night. Excuse me, Life? Thank you for thoroughly ROCKING… with a little help from Kings of Leon, of course.
I’ll put it this way: They played “Trani”. I saw TRANI live. Me=Mesmerized.
The Kings also played songs from their album, Come Around Sundown, which hadn’t been released at the time. That was an extra treat for the packed house, though I was completely convinced this was a private show for me only. Nothing else around me existed. Not really sure how I finally ended up front row at the last minute, and still can’t believe I experienced “Trani” live, on the FRONT ROW, but it happened and I still smile every time I think about it.
Another highlight from this show would have to be the fact that I ALMOST caught Caleb’s water bottle and towel. Well, I suppose that was ALMOST a highlight.. but a definite highlight would have to be.. the entire set. Duh.
Setlist:
It goes without saying, I will be back in Atlanta on July 27th, 2011. Same Ampitheatre. Same girl (me). Same heartpounding incredible. *concert photo from my cell phone*
