A Place for Dreams

My *first* Kings of Leon concert. 

My original plans were to go see a different band that same night, however, as soon as I found out that KoL would be playing that night as well, my plans immediately changed. I jumped ship so fast, and boarded the Kings’ train without questioning it. This night was kind of surreal because at this point I was desperately trying to get my hands on every piece of music they had ever recorded, because I had become absolutely enthralled with them. The kind of enthrallment that you know you’ll never live without again.

Once I was at the outdoor venue and stood in front of the stage with anticipation, I had a feeling that my life would soon be changing in a very powerful way. Once they stepped out and the music started.. I knew I was right. Clearly.

One of the things that I took notice of immediately was how AMAZING they sound live. How would I ever walk away from that stage? I wanted it to last forever. 

Two stand out memories from this night? They performed Milk. God bless them for that :-D And Caleb promised to come back to Cary, NC. He loved the venue and talked about how beautiful it was. Caleb? Let’s make good on that promise, please? xoxo
